About Perfume by Nature

My name is Ambrosia and Perfume by Nature is my company.

I am a perfumer specializing in traditional Perfumes using pure Natural ingredients.

Which is a pretty revolutionary act.

Like many of the older art forms, such as carpentry, mass manufacture has led to the useage of cheap alternatives and quick fixes. In the case of perfumery, this has meant that natural perfume components such as Damask rose absolute and essential oils have been replaced by much cheaper perfume chemicals.

Perfumes are not made with things like damask rose oil anymore….even the most expensive french perfumes are concocted from a variety of different chemical components, because they are cheaper and also allow modern perfumers to create ever new smelling things which you cannot find in nature.

But I feel that something really precious has been lost there.  And it is this lost art that I will be blogging about….
